An attempt by G40 kingpin Jonathan Moyo to expose President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his current administration are looters, who plundered resources in Zimbabwe and the Democratic Republic of Congo, seems to have backfired terribly with his twitter followers telling him to leave Mnangagwa alone, arguing that if he has amassed so much wealth he might be a good leader for the country.
Moyo yesterday tweeted that besides covering up for their atrocities and gross Human rights violations, the Mnangagwa administration was also covering up for their massive and systematic looting of Zimbabwe and DRC resources.
He attached a clip from journalist Gift Phiri which said Mnangagwa was the richest man in Zimbabwe and not Strive Masiyiwa.
Phiri said Mnangagwa had a net worth of $1.5 billion and controlled the fuel industry through proxies but according to Forbes magazine, Masiyiwa is still richer than Mnangagwa as his net worthies $1.7 billion.
Moyo, however, had some supporters with one querying how people quickly turned into bootlickers.
