Is this how famous Mugabe was?

Former Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe, who died on 6 September this year, has been listed by the Voice of America as one of the famous people that died this year.

But going through the list Zimbabweans are not likely to recognise a lot of people unless they are film addicts as most of those listed are actors. There are a few politicians but not African, some musicians, business magnets, and famous author Toni Morrison.

It is not clear why Mugabe was included on this list but it says a lot about the man who presided over Zimbabwe for 37 years, the first seven as Prime Minister.

Unfortunately he was not buried at the Heroes Acre where most famous Zimbabweans are buried because of what appeared to be suspicions that his body would be tampered with.
