Grace Mugabe dresses down Mnangagwa

First Lady Grace Mugabe today dressed down Vice-President Emerson Mnangagwa and warned him that he could go the way Joice Mujuru went.

““I once warned Mujuru and she said I am mad but where is she?” she asked.

Mujuru was expelled from the party after being accused of trying to oust Mugabe from power.

Addressing a  youth rally at Chipadze Stadium in Bindura, Grace Mugabe said there has been no peace since 2014 when the Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front amended its constitution to allow Mugabe to appoint vice-presidents instead of having them elected by the people as previously.

Though Zimbabwe has two Vice-Presidents her venom was directed at Mnangagwa whom she said led a faction called Lacoste.

The First Lady claimed that there was no faction called G40, implying that Mnangagwa was after her husband.

She was not interested in the presidency and was happy being First Lady and nothing more.

“I don’t know of G40 but I know Lacoste exists,” she said.

She also blasted those who claimed that Mnangagwa was poisoned when he fell sick at the Gwanda rally adding that nothing was said when her husband had diarrhoea after the Mutare rally.

She also publicly humiliated Kazembe Kazembe for calling for the ouster of Saviour Kasukuwere saying his only crime was refusing to support Lacoste.

The First Lady also said ministers who did not support Lacoste were being shunned and so was Vice-President Phelekezela Mphoko.

She said Mphoko was not being invited to events like Mnangagwa was.
