The Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front is once again reported to be using food aid to build political support ahead of the elections scheduled this year. The party is reported to using ZANU-PF loyalists to distribute grain and rice donated by President Robert Mugabe. They in turn are allegedly demanding to see ZANU-PF membership cards before they hand over food parcels.
