Pastor Evan Mawarire who led nationwide protests against President Robert Mugabe paralysing the nation before fleeing to South Africa and then the United States has been refused entry into the United Kingdom, a report said today.
Premier Christian Radio which is based in London says Mawarire was due in London tonight where he was to present a talk to the Africa All Party Parliament Group but he was denied an entry visa resulting in the event being cancelled.
The radio station said it was not clear why Mawarire was denied a visa but he was appealing the decision.
Mawarire has stayed in the UK before.
