President Robert Mugabe is reported to have set 29 June as the date for elections. A Sunday newspaper today said Mugabe has set that date and nit any day later. “The President said the cut-off date for an election is June 29 and not any other day later. …He wants all the processes leading to elections, including the voter registration and voter education exercises to be done as soon as possible,” the Standard reported.
