Finance Minister Tendai Biti today said he had not received the money for diamonds from Marange as Mines Minister Obert Mpofu claimed. Mpofu said on Tuesday the issue of the missing money, about $300 million according to Biti, had been resolved but Biti said it had not. “If they (ZANU-PF officials) want war, we will give them war,” Biti declared. “They are creating deliberate dishonesty. They are simply trying to divert attention from real issues to do with the manner over how diamond money is being handled.”
