The deadline for Zimbabweans to regularise their stay in South Africa ended today with the South African Ministry of Home affairs saying they had received 230 000applications by Mid-day today. There had been reports that there were as many as three million Zimbabweans in South Africa. A picture will emerge next week once all the people in the queues have been cleared.
