Coronavirus deaths in Zimbabwe down to one

Zimbabwe today recorded one coronavirus death in the past 24 hours but there were four other deaths and 31 cases from Matebeleland South that were added today but were picked up following a verification and consolidation exercise.

A total of 66 cases were recorded today meaning that there were only 35 new cases in the past 24 hours.

The number of active cases dropped to 2 205 following 91 recoveries.

Zimbabwe has now recorded 35 862 cases, 32 216 recoveries and 1 441 deaths.

Harare has 884 active cases, Manicaland 563, Mashonaland West 227 and Bulawayo 140.

Zimbabwe is under a Level 4 lockdown which should be reviewed by Monday.
