Coronavirus cases in Zimbabwe increase to 32

Zimbabwe yesterday recorded one more coronavirus case increasing the number to 32.

A total of 439 tests were carried out with 204 from Harare.

One of those in Harare tested positive but the Ministry of Health said it had not yet disaggregated the tests done in Harare by province.

The ministry has so far carried out 6 834 tests and 32 of these were positive.  Harare has 14 cases, Bulawayo 10, Mashonaland East 4, Mashonaland West 3 and Matebeleland North only one.

There have been four deaths, two in Harare, one in Bulawayo and one in Mashonaland West.

All four from Mashonaland East have recovered while the single case from Matebeleland North has also recovered.

The country is under a national lockdown until 3 May.
