Leading academic and promoter of traditional healing Professors Gordon Chavunduka has died. The Zimbabwe National Traditional Healers Association said today Chavunduka died in Harare yesterday after a long battle with cancer. He was 82. Chavunduka, a former head of the University of Zimbabwe, was widely known for his research and writing that helped to bridge the gap between Western medical practices and Africa’s traditional healing.
