The State today dropped corruption charges against Energy Minister Elton Mangoma. Mangoma was accused of interfering in a deal to buy equipment for the state electricity utility. Last month Mangoma was acquitted of wrongfully purchasing 5 million litres of fuel worth about $5 million dollars from a South African company.
