Chamisa’s chance to redeem himself

Movement for Democratic Change Nelson Chamisa will have a chance to redeem himself when he presents his Agenda 2020 at Stodart Hall in Mbare, Harare, tomorrow.

Police have sanctioned the event meaning that there will be no State interference.

Police have banned several MDC events in the past few months citing security reasons, giving the party and Chamisa a chance to capitalize on “state repression”.

People were therefore left guessing what the opposition leader would have said but a lot of people were not inspired by his last address to the nation.

Chamisa is under pressure from his supporters to do something as the economy continues to totter but so far it has all been talk especially on his twitter handle.

There are whispers that the West is fed up with him and may be trying to find a way to prop one of his deputies Tendai Biti.

Biti, however, does not have a political base.
