Chamisa posted the pictures after Holland had questioned the spate of abductions of activists and opposition officials saying some of these bordered on “falsehoods, misinformation and outright malice”.
Though most of his followers supported the MDC leader accusing Holland and Madhuku of selling out, some questioned Chamisa’s motive for posting the pictures.
“The thinking behind posting such pictures is insanity,” commented Chamunorwa. “An aspiring leader must think before such. People backing this are more stupids.”
Tindo added: “Why do people want to impose their choices on other people. With all due respect they too have a right to choose who they support or what they think without being subjected to intimidation or name calling. No wonder Zanu Pf respond to opposition the way they do bcoz makangofanana.”
Nzwakele suggested that Chamisa was now clueless on the way forward.
“Nelson you have done your part. There is a need for someone who can take the struggle forward. Who can define the word revolution further,” he tweeted.
Zvikomborero asked Chamisa to join the national dialogue otherwise his colleagues will leave him one by one.
“Dr Nero these people will leave u one by one coz you are power hungry just go for the dialogue and we meet in 2023 chete chete,” he twetted.
He was supported by Elvis Mashavave who wrote: “Mr president honestly you should have gone to that national dialogue and if you had any issues mainotaura ikoko . I think it was going to be the first step to show Ed wacho and us kuti you want the country to be better rather than power.”
Chamisa seems to have lost steam after his election as party leader at the May congress and there are reports that countries like the United States may be supporting one of his deputies Tendai Biti instead.
Whispers that Chamisa may be a Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front project also continue to surface now and again.
Ronald Makusha tweeted: “What about the ZUVA case which you were the chief counsel? You drink and eat with @edmnangagwa and out here you pretend to hate him. The reason why you are refusing dialogue which is inclusive is the fear to be told your dirty works.”
