Chamisa sent to repair cracks

Movement for Democratic Change organising secretary Nelson Chamisa was dispatched to Masvingo province to repair widening cracks over the nomination of candidates for the coming elections. Reports said the party had failed to get aspiring candidates for the parliamentary seats in Mwenezi West, Chiredzi North, Chiredzi South and Chivi South. Chamisa disputed this saying: “It is not true at all that we failed to get any candidates from four constituencies who want to contest on our party ticket and in fact the truth is that we have simply said in those four constituencies we want more nomination papers to be submitted so that we can vet more candidates for us to be able to do careful and informed selection on the right candidates.”
