Bulawayo down to 2 active coronavirus cases

Zimbabwe’s second largest city, Bulawayo, which at one time had the highest number of active coronavirus cases before the second wave hit the country just after Christmas, now has only two active cases.

The country today recorded two deaths and 18 new cases but 38 people, including 14 from Bulawayo, recovered leaving 930 active cases.

So far there have been 36 289 cases, 33 872 recoveries and 1 487 deaths.

Harare has 516 active cases. Manicaland rose to 117 and Matebeleland North is at 181.

Some 3 278 people were vaccinated today bringing the total to 35 518.
