Biti going to court to force ZEC to release election results

The Movement for Democratic Change Alliance is preparing a court application to force the election commission to release results from yesterday elections, one of the Alliance partners Tendai Biti told Reuters.

He said some election results that were supposed to be posted outside voting stations were not available.

Biti said it was clear Chamisa had won.

No official results have been released and the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission says it is illegal for anyone, besides the ZEC, is allowed to announce elections.
