Indigenisation and Empowerment Minister Saviour Kasukuwere has warned that government will soon be moving to target foreign-owned banks, reports said today. Kasukuwere told industrialists that if foreign banks did not want to operate under the laws of the country or do not agree with the indigenisation laws they were free to close shop and leave. “We have been focusing on mining. We will move to the banking sector. We need to ensure banks respect and respond to the aspirations of the people,” he said.
