The youth wing of the African National Congress of South Africa has pledged to support the Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front so that it can win this year’s elections. ANC youth league president Ronald Lamola is reported to have pledged the support at the just ended meeting of African liberation movements that was held in Pretoria. ZANU-PF youth secretary Absalom Sikhosana said the election, whose date has not yet been set, is a “do or die” for his party.
