The African Union and the Southern African Development Community today cleared the Zimbabwe elections and said although there were issues that needed to be addressed they could not declare the elections null and void. They also urged the Movement for Democratic Change to accept the results which showed the Zimbabwe African National Union- Patriotic Front leading by a wide margin.
