Active coronavirus cases in Zimbabwe marginally up

Zimbabwe had 20 new coronavirus cases today but only 8 recoveries and one death resulting in the number of active cases rising slightly to 949.

Over 1 300 people were vaccinated today bringing the total to 37 660.

Zimbabwe has so far recoded 36 504 cases, 34 051 recoveries and 1 504 deaths.

Harare has 463 active cases followed by Matebeleland North with 201, Manicaland with 127 and Bulawayo with 41.

Yesterday, 125 people were hospitalised. Two were in intensive care and 17 were sever cases.
