Active coronavirus cases in Zimbabwe down to 650, nearly 120 000 vaccinated

Active coronavirus cases in Zimbabwe today dropped to 650 while the number of people that have been vaccinated rose to 117 297.

Harare has 433 active cases and Bulawayo has 121. Mashonaland East is in third place but has only 24 cases while all other provinces have less than 20 cases, each.

A total of 5 709 people were vaccinated today.  More than 40 000 people have been vaccinated in the past four days.

Only 276 got the second dose raising the figure to 21 603.

There were 12 new cases and one death while 16 people recovered.

Zimbabwe so far has 36 923 cases, 1 525 deaths and 34 748 recoveries.
