A British journalist, Paul Dacre, who is the editor-in-chief of the Daily Mirror group, which runs the most viewed website in the world, is now frequently referred to as Paul Mugabe Dacre.
Dacre was dubbed the Robert Mugabe of Fleet Street due to his career longevity and fearsome reputation. He has been editor of the paper for 20 years.
He is famed for his foul-mouth in news meetings and his frequent use of the four-letter word c**t.
The real Mugabe has been in power for 32 years and is now the 11th longest serving ruler still in office in the world.
In Africa he is number three after Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of Equatorial Guinea who came to power in August 1979 and Jose Eduardo dos Santos of Angola who has been in office since September 1979.
