A total of 112 people recovered today.
There were 71 new cases resulting in the number of active cases dropping to 2 089.
Harare tops on the number of active cases with 472, followed by Matebeleland South with 391 and Bulawayo now down to 337.
Cases to date stand at 13 148. There have been 10 705 recoveries and 354 deaths.
Globally, there are now 81.4 million cases which include 1.78 million deaths, 57.5 million recoveries and 22.2 million active cases.
South Africa became the 18th country to surpass one million cases.
Africa has 2.7 million cases. The country with the second highest number of cases, Morocco, has 433 000 and Tunisia which is in third place has only 133 000.
Africa has recorded only 63 026 deaths.
South Africa leads with 26 735 while Egypt which has the second highest number of deaths on the continent is way down at 7 405 ad Morocco in third place has 7 272.
