181 recover from coronavirus in Zimbabwe in 24 hours, 174 of them from Matebeleland South

A whopping 181 people, 174 of them from Matebeleland South, have recovered from coronavirus leaving some six provinces with less than 10 active cases each.

There was only one new case with the tally increasing to 7 838 while the number of recoveries rose to 6 303.

Matebeleland South now has only 9 active cases; Mashonaland Central, 4; Mashonaland East, 5; Midlands, 0; Masvingo, 1; and Matebeleland North, 3.

Harare has 1 125, Bulawayo 99, Manicaland 23 and Mashonaland West 37.

The total number of active dropped to 1 307.

Globally, the number of cases rose to 34.1 million with 1.02 million deaths, 25.3 million recoveries and 7.7 million active cases.
