A 36-year-old Zimbabwean, Derick Nhekairo, has been sentenced to 120 years in jail for knowingly infecting four women in West Texas, United States, with the HIV virus.
Nhekairo went to the United States in 2000 and remained after his student visa expired. He slept with 18 women and told none that he carried the virus that causes AIDS.
He was arrested in July 2012 after one of the women contacted authorities.
